This is pure gold! Nowadays everyone has different advised about what to do and not to do in nutrition, we don’t even know what to believe. It’s so refreshing that health professionals are doing their own research and getting out of the narrative in order to really help people. Thank you @drTyna and @NutriSense for this!

Awesome show! I’m turning 52 this year and Dr Tyna you’ve been a huge support on my journey to becoming metabolically healthy. Seed oils are such an important part thank you for teaching us all the ways. I totally related to your childhood story about how your mom cooked and when it changed! Funny how I have now gone back to the “old way” but better :)

Have been learning more about metabolic health and Just started fasting and carnivore way of eating. Would love to learn more about CGM’s to see what triggers I have. Great podcast on seed oils and how it effects the body.

Amazing info!!!! More people should be aware how toxic seed oils are and so much of the food on the market (especially processed) contains it! The more I learn, read and research, I realize that eating is close to whole food/real food diet is key! Also, Hoping that I can one day test a glucose monitor and use it in my wellness practice- thank you for these episodes 😉

I have been following you, Dr Tyna, on IG for some time now. This episode on sees oils was fantastic! I knew a little bit about seed oils before but even more now. Having been diagnosed with hormone issues and meds did nothing. Tried BHRT and again, nothing. The information you both shared will help a lot into making even more changes for the better! THANK YOU!

Great information on food and oils…I had gestational diabetes 25 years ago (full blown insulin and testing 3X a day, and not due to weight gain) was told I would inevitably end up with diabetes. When I was desperate for sugar, I would eat a piece of cheese with a piece of candy to level out the spike. 🤣My A1C hovers at the top of normal but I wonder if it’s also related to having Hashimoto’s or vice versa. I’m not overweight and do strength training. I tried being vegetarian and was always hungry, so am back to beef. I’m super curious to see how brittle my insulin levels are to my diet now. I manage instinctively, but always wonder “how is this affecting me right now?”

Amazing info as always!

I have been dying to get one of these monitors. I ended up in the hospital for blood sugar reasons even though I am NOT diabetic. My fibromyalgia just likes to make everything fun.

I have since gotten back towards a healthier track of living, but would be so happy for the opportunity to be able to measure and gauge how different foods react in my body!

A good look at what the metabolism is working with needs good devices like the Nurisenseo CGM. Blood loaded with glucose is one of the most toxic to veins, immune cells, it feeds blood bacteria and parasites, glucose elevates brain inflammation including plaques. I’m so grateful I have a CGM to help me know how I’m doing underneath 👏👏👏👍
